If the police cant drive correctly then .....

Postby Peter101 » 18 Apr 2010, 17:27

I drove into whiteley this evening, along Dickens drive etc, I was following a Police car, of the panda variation. Not once did the policeman driving indicate, he even turned off the main stretch of road in front of me without any kind of signal. Also drove straight over a mini roundabout indicating on this occasion but incorrectly. Might seem petty to some, but if these coppers are too damn lazy to drive correctly and set an example, what hope is there that anyone else will drive in a correct manner. And how are the general public supposed to rely on the police to govern bad driving, when members of the police force cannot drive correctly themselves!

If you take down the registration, date and time you can complain about it.

Yeah I know, I was going to, had the phone in my hand. But then I thought that they would do nothing about it, what's the point.

He had the phone in his hand poised to dial the Police, therefore it was a legal situation to use a handheld phone in a moving vehicle.... :smt024

All joking aside, get yourself an amateur radio licence and it is impossible to be prosecuted for using a telephone in a moving vehicle, unless they can prove without due care or D D.

I didnt have room in my hand for a phone, I would have had to put my can of lager down, and some might have spilled!
