A big Free Fun Day at the Whiteley Community Centre to celebrate its 10th Birthday and the Royal Diamond Jubilee on Saturday 26th May, 1-4pm.
All the different groups that regularly use the Community Centre are getting together to celebrate the life of the Community of Whiteley. There will be a bouncy castle, stalls, football shootout, splat the rat, lollipop game, name the teddy, face painting, music taster lessons, BBQ and cream teas.
During the afternoon there will also be entertainment by lots of different groups on the "Performance Stage", so you will be in for a treat to experience lots of fun, talent and enthusiasm. There will be shows of Dancing, kick boxing, singing and music so please come and support the very many groups.
To celbrate the Royal Diamond Jubilee we are inviting children to come in fancy dress with the theme Kings, Queens, Princesses and Knights. They can have a photo taken seated on a throne and maybe win a prize.
All celebrations need a cake so we will be having a cake cutting ceremony towards the end of the afternoon.
The event is for the whole community of Whiteley. Groups will be raising funds for themselves and the Community Centre which is also a charity.
