There are some traffic improvements planned for Gull Coppice and the area surrounding the School.

Double Yellow Lines will be painted adjacent to the Whiteley Primary School.
Parking enforcement will start on the zig zags near the school.

Road Safety measures were implemented on Yew Tree Drive between Gull Coppice and Rookery Avenue in February 2010.

Gull Coppice shopping centre clamping has started after the maintenance company has surveyed the shops and other occupiers of Gull Coppice to find who wishes to participate in the scheme. 2hr time limits for shop parking have been implemented.
	Double Yellow Lines have been painted adjacent to the Gill Coppice Shops.

Pedestrian access to the school from Rookery Avenue will be implemented before September 2010 after planning permission was granted in May 2010.

The drop off point will be made through the trees past the all weather pitch to allow access. This will give a choice to parents, either walk children to school and use the Gull Coppice entrance or if they must drive they can drop their children off in Rookery Avenue.
